Niscayah's business model is focused on the customer’s risk environment and business operations. It applies, from analysis and design, throughout the entire process of installation and integration, service and maintenance, customer service functions and security center to evaluation and upgrading. With continuous evaluations together with the customer, a common view of risk management is ensured. Through identifying customer segments with similar security needs, Niscayah can establish itself and grow in new segments and fully take advantage of previous experiences and investments.
Parameters of the business model
Analysis, design and sales
The risk analysis is always produced together with the customer. The analysis is often based on a security standard. This applies to banks for example, where the standard in certain countries is determined jointly by the country’s banks. Robberies, information leaks and fraud are some examples of the risks that the bank must protect itself against. An important component of the analysis is to examine and identify the customer’s special needs and driving forces. By means of gaining a fundamental understanding of the customer’s business, Niscayah can also obtain in-depth knowledge about the customer’s present and future risk exposure.
Niscayah designs an integrated security solution based on the analysis, which can evolve and support the customer’s future development. Niscayah gains a broad framework of solid knowledge about the customer’s operations and risk factors through working in segments with customers that have similar risk profiles.
The security strategy which is designed must be sustainable in the long-term and must at the same time be sufficiently dynamic in order to adapt to continu¬ous changes in the customer’s security needs. For a bank, Niscayah can offer a security strategy which consists of different elements such as physical protection of the bank vault, intrusion alarm, video surveillance, deterrent perimeter protection and section surveillance. Niscayah's mission is to protect the bank and its operations on several levels, from physical protection of the individual offices to protection of the bank’s various central and strategic assets.
Security is a service which is often considered suitable to delegate to professional operators. Niscayah strives in particular to be a security partner to organizations and companies with high security needs. It is increasingly common for companies to have a Chief Security Officer (CSO) who is responsible for ensuring that the risk environment is managed in a proper manner. Accordingly, security questions lie at a strategic level where Niscayah adds value by virtue of its experience and core competence.
System integration and installation – a complete solution
System integration is a core part of Niscayah's work. It involves managing the risks identified in the risk analysis. The integration is strictly based on the customer’s needs. This means among other things, that Niscayah always strives to be independent when it comes to particular products or suppliers. In this way, there are no restrictions on a cer¬tain product line. Instead, Niscayah can continuously evaluate what is best on the market. Furthermore, the customer can retain security systems already in existence and instead develop and customize the solutions in partnership with Niscayah.
The protection which is designed, can for example consist of a system for video surveillance, tracking, access control, intrusion and fire protection as well as communication and information analysis, all integrated to a complete solution.
